You can now stream Sentinel-2 satellite imagery directly into your GeoNadir project. Sentinel-2 is an Earth observation satellite mission from the European Space Agency that captures multispectral imagery at 10–60 m resolution, ideal for regional-scale environmental monitoring. Simply zoom to your project area on the map to find most recent image with less than 30% cloud cover. It’s a quick and easy way to add broader context to your drone data or track recent changes over time. Soon you’ll also be able to filter by date range and cloud cover for even more control.

  1. From the top menu bar, click to add data

  2. Select Stream online data

  3. Zoom and pan if necessary to alter your geographic search. We will automatically return the most recent image with <30% cloud cover within the centre of your map display.

  4. Click to select your chosen image

  5. Click Add to project

The online streaming contains modified Copernicus Sentinel data [2015–present], processed by Element 84.
