We want you to upload your original imagery so that you don't have to worry about processing the orthomosaics yourself in other software.

When sharing to the FAIR Geo global map, this is also important so that the datasets retain all metadata, are processed in a consistent manner; and can be re-processed at any stage as the algorithms get better in the future. Just like it's not possible to unscramble an egg, if we only had your orthomosaic we wouldn't be able to get back to the original imagery.
