Who can use this feature

Editors of a project within a Professional or Pro + workspace.

Have you got some ground based photos, or even special oblique images that you would like to add to your project, but they are not part of an orthomosaic? You can do this in three easy steps!

  1. From the top menu bar, click to add data.

  2. Select add photos as points.

  3. Browse for your photos, or simply drag and drop! Note that they will need to be geotagged.

To view your photos, use the Inspect tool:

  1. From the top menu bar, open the Inspect tool (or use Shift + I as the keyboard shortcut).

  2. Click on a photo icon on the map and its information will be displayed in a popup.

  3. Click on the image thumbnail in Inspect to expand the image and add notes.

Additional options

If you want to change the name of a photo or the photo layer itself, just click on the name in the Table of Contents and type the new name.

You can also change the color of the icon from blue to whatever else you like. Simply click on the icon in the table of contents and change in the style bar pop up.
