We understand the budget constraints educators have along with the impact they can have if they have access to industry-grade software like GeoNadir for their students.

GeoNadir EDU workspace

A GeoNadir Education workspace is available for educators with a .edu email address.

This provides an increase in the number of projects and editors when compared to the standard GeoNadir Professional subscription benefits, as well as a discount on the pricing.

You will get an increase in the following limits for your class:

  • Create 30 projects (usually 5 projects) for analyzing data (enough for one project space per student)

  • Invite up to 30 editors (usually 5 editors) to the workspace (enough for a class)

* If these limits are not enough, get in touch and the team can help.

Education price

USD $550 / AUD $845

Get started

To get your account upgraded, then follow these steps:

  • Create a free account on GeoNadir using a .edu email address. Don't pay for anything yet.

  • Reach out to the team at [email protected] from your .edu email address and request an upgrade to your account to an EDU workspace.

  • The team can provide a quote if you need to generate a purchase order, or can send you an invoice.

  • Your .edu account will be upgraded once the purchase order or payment is received.

To get started with your students once your account is upgraded follow these steps:

  • A workspace is created for the lead educator, and they can add their students into the workspace, having full control of the account and access permissions.

  • We recommend that individual student project spaces are created by the lead educator for students.

  • We recommend giving the students editor access to their project only.

  • Teachers can view the student progress at anytime and provide live feedback on the student project.

To get students started with using data there are a couple of options:

  • Data collected by the class is uploaded to the workspace as FAIR data and all the students have access to the processed data via the FAIR Global Map and can add the data to their project.

  • If data cannot be made available on the FAIR Global Map, and is kept private, then the lead educator can do the following:

    • Give the students 'view' access to the workspace in the Management page and members tab. Note, this will give students the ability to view other students projects.

    • Set up an initial project with all the data, then duplicate the project, then invite individual students into the project.

    • Add the data to the students project as the lead educator.

Onboarding support

We can provide full onboarding support for you to ensure your EDU workspace is set up to enable success!

As your students will be creating an account with us at GeoNadir, we recommend you educate your students that they will receive system messages, newsletters, etc. They can unsubscribe from these at any stage.
