As you create your point, line, and polygon features and layers in your GeoNadir project, you may find that you need to copy and paste these features within and between layers.

Just like many other software, we use the standard shortcuts to copy, cut, and paste.

To copy

  1. Select the feature or layer that you want to copy. It should be highlighted in the table of content and on the map.

  2. Right click on the feature or layer in the table of contents

  3. Select copy (or cut)

To paste into the same layer

  1. Right click the layer that you have just copied from

  2. Select paste or use the shortcut ctrl + v

To paste into another existing layer

  1. Right click the layer that you would like to copy to

  2. Select paste or use the shortcut ctrl + v

To paste into a new layer

  1. Make sure nothing is selected in the table of contents

  2. Use the shortcut ctrl + v
